​So You've Torn Your ACL...

Everything was going fine.  You were thinking about the amazing day you had on the mountain. You were thinking about how great the day was.  You were about to stop skiing for the day, but nope…”Lets do one more run”, you thought.  You hit that last run like you’re Bode Miller…then “bam” you’re on the ground.  You wonder what was that “pop” noise you heard. 

You think you’re good, but then you try to stand up…Its like trying to stand on a wet noodle.  Your ride back down on the sled is an embarrassing one and you’re hoping you just “sprained” something.   But no…you’ve torn your ACL. 

Now you don’t always need to have surgery.  That’s for a different post.  But in the case that you have decided to have surgery…this is the checklist for you!
