What sets Malibu Restoration Physical Therapy apart from other PT clinics?
~One-on-one treatment for your entire session with a highly skilled, experienced physical therapist.
You will not be working with an aide or assistant, or left to do exercises on your own. You get the personal time to have all your concerns addressed. Dr. Jessie will see you, and only you, for your full session. You will have full privacy for all exercises and treatment from start to finish. This type of personalized therapy gives you the opportunity to have the individualized attention you deserve, and most likely will decrease the amount of PT sessions needed to get you better. Your time is valuable and should be treated as such!
~Specifically tailored "total body approach" of your condition, not just treatment of "the part that hurts".
It is important that the whole body is addressed, especially the surrounding joints to the one being treated. Often times other PT clinics will not have the time to properly address these other issues which can significantly prolong your recovery time. At Restoration PT, a whole body approach will be taken. Dr. Jessie will look beyond the pain, address posture and balance, and provide you with a comprehensive home exercise program with self-care techniques.
~Quality over quantity.
The Restoration model is to see less patients a week in order to provide a higher quality of care to the patients being seen. Because you will be the only one seen at your session this will give you 3-4x the personal time and attention you would otherwise receive from most conventional PT clinics. You can call or email with any concerns or questions you have between your PT visits. This is considered part of your physical therapy experience and time is dedicated to you. When the focus is on quality over quantity, you come out ahead!
~Education and Experience.
Dr. Jessie has over 20 years of clinical orthopedic and sports medicine rehabilitation experience. She will be able to help answer your questions and educate you on how best to recover. She will provide you with resources on how to continue your care when you are done with PT and has a skilled network of people she can refer you to when appropriate. The goal is to help you get better even if this means referring you out to another provider or clinic.
